Bleach Kollektiv brings together a collective of visual artists and photographers united around a shared purpose: the promotion, teaching, and wider dissemination of photographic art.
The brief called for a coherent visual identity system — flexible enough to serve the collective’s many voices, strong enough to speak as one. The name itself set the direction. Bleach, as a chemical agent, plays a central role in various stages of photographic processing — an industry-specific reference that grounded the concept in the medium itself.
From there, the visual language draws on the iconography of the darkroom: developer chemicals, negative film, the tension between light and shadow. The design system leans into contrast and asymmetry as compositional principles — deliberate choices that give the identity its edge and allow it to scale across a wide range of applications without losing its character.
The result is a bold, considered visual identity that roots Bleach Kollektiv firmly in the culture of photography while positioning it as a contemporary, forward-facing presence.
